these I will bring to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer;
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

Isaiah 56:7

Welcome to the House of Prayer

Who We Are

We are a diverse, multicultural community who welcome people from all backgrounds.

We are exuberant in our praise, excited about our future, and serious about preparing people for eternity.

If you are searching for purpose and ready for a change, we welcome you to join us as we come together to worship and exalt the Lord!

As women of God we are called to love, nurture and care for our families, homes and communities. We want to encourage women to fulfill their purpose in God, to be women of prayer, faith, and strength.

We believe our youth are a valuable and fundamental asset to the future of the Church of Jesus Christ. We are committed to equip them with the courage and confidence to live out their faith everyday.

Our goal is to empower men to take a stand for their faith, family and for future generations.To build them up in their God given authority to be leaders, protectors and providers.
Pastor Scott and Jean Vierira are both natives of New Britain, CT and are living testimonies of God’s transforming power.

They have committed their lives to advancing the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Both came from broken backgrounds, and their greatest joy is to see broken lives repaired and transformed by the Power and grace of GOD.

I thank Jesus Christ for coming into my life like a mighty rushing wind. He turned my life around. He delivered me from smoking, cursing and a witchcraft spirit. He filled me, my husband, my children and grandchildren with His precious Holy Spirit. He healed my son from chronic asthma. He changed my life forever. It’s been nine years since I gave my life to Christ, He is the Shepard of my soul and best thing that ever happened to me.

I lived a very isolated life, non-social, heavily depressed & full of anger. I was suicidal and once came close to taking my life. I was on medication that only made me worse. I no longer take medication for anger & depression, I don’t need it because I’m saved! I got the Holy Ghost April 4th, 2010 & got baptized right after. I also don’t swear any more & I’m married to my beautiful wife. I thank God for what He’s done for me, He is Awesome & He can change your life too if you want Him to.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the
measure you use, it will be measured to you.
